Moderated by Yad Abdulqader, the KSF's panel on Evolving Kurdish Identity turns to the ways in which contemporary political, social, and technological developments conceptualize the ever-developing idea of Kurdish selfhood, both at the individual and various political levels. Drawing on historical frameworks, each panelist contributes a distinct perspective to discourses of identity in relation to migration, globalization, technology, and literature.

The discussion examines the questions through which identity is approached, addressing the formation and ambiguities of Kurdish identity, the distinction between what remains central and what continues to evolve, and how these dynamics are reflected in Kurdish literature and poetry.
