We are pleased to have American photojournalist and filmmaker Ed Kashi joining us to launch a photography exhibition at the Kurdish Studies Forum. Ed has documented Kurdish photographic archives since the 1990s across different parts of Kurdistan and Europe. This exhibition will share the depth of his decades-long work with our guests and with the city. Stay tuned for more details about Ed Kashi and his program at the Forum and in Sulaimani.
Ed Kashi is a renowned American photojournalist, filmmaker, and educator. A longtime member of the VII Foundation, his signature works include the Iraqi Kurdistan Flipbook. His work has been published and exhibited globally and has received numerous awards. He is also the co-founder of Talking Eyes Media.
